  Dr. Dent cares very much about his special needs patients. I could not be more grateful to find a dentist well-prepared and patient to work with my child. Dr. Dent is excellent with his dental care and generous with his time. I don't know any other dentist in Houston who will offer such a highly respectful service to our special children. Thank you Dr. Dent!

  I have been to Sugar Land Modern Dentistry for two procedures and have been supremely pleased with both visits. My first visit was for pain which seemed to arrive from a wisdom tooth. The oral surgeon, Dr. Seaman, spent considerable time evaluating the situation and listening to my questions and concerns. I recall nothing of the actual extraction procedure, and the recovery required only a few Tylenol. Moreover, he followed up with a call that evening to see how i was doing. Seven months after my 1st visit to Dr. Seaman, I texted him with a description of a different and considerable pain in my mouth. He called within 3 minutes, remembered precisely the tooth of mine he extracted 7 months prior, and offered to see me in two days. He saw the problem within 5 minutes, picked up some tools, and after some quick adjustments, sent me home feeling 100% better. I was simply stunned at his insight, dedication, and compassion. On both visits the front desk staff was very courteous, expedient, and helpful.

  I took my daughter there for her 6 month check up last week and was very disappointed. My daughter had been complaining of pain and the dentist did the cleaning and exam before taking x-rays which was odd. She told me she would be back to let me know the results of the x-rays but never came back to let us know. We sat there for about 15-20 minutes before another girl who we had never seen came to tell us that we were done. I told her that we were waiting on the x-ray results from the doctor & she said everything was good & she was wondering why we were still waiting there. Basically, we were forgotten about??!!!!. So, she walked us to the front to make a follow up appointment and give my daughter a toy but forgot about the toy I'm assuming because she never got that either or the "goodie" bag with a toothbrush she usually receives at the end of the visit. I know those things aren't crucial but it makes all the difference when taking a nervous child to the dentist, especially since they did away with their pediatric side which provided a nice kid friendly environment. The message I received on our last visit to Sugar Land Modern Dentistry was that they don't want to see children. It's a shame because my daughter loved going there. We will be finding a new dentist. I will give 3 stars just because the office was clean and the assistant was friendly but this place does need to get organized!
